Let's talk about pink

We have this new obsession. It's called pink. Especially that beautiful dusty rose shade of pink. If you would be able to look into our phones you would see the amounts of What's-app messages we've exchanged containing images of pink walls, shirts, notebooks.. more pink walls and.. some more pink walls. Even me, as a die-hard, boring, black outfit from head-to-toe all day everyday girl, wore a dusty pink shirt today.
We're not sure where this sudden obsession comes from, but apparently we're not entirely alone in this. PANTONE even called 'Rose Quarts' (a dusty rose colour) their colour of the year, combined with Serenity, a soft blue colour.
According to PANTONE people 'seek mindfulness and well-being as an antidote to modern day stresses, welcoming colours that psychologically fulfil our yearning for reassurance and security are becoming more prominent.
